Pear and Brown Sugar Cobbler

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter (melted)
  • 2 cans (15 oz each) Del Monte Sliced Pears (drained well and roughly chopped)
  • 1/2 cup Domino Light Brown Sugar (packed)
  • 1 tsp McCormick Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 cup Bisquick Baking Mix
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Pour the melted butter directly into the bottom of a 9×13 baking dish.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together the Bisquick, milk, and granulated sugar until a smooth batter forms.
  4. Pour the batter directly over the melted butter in the baking dish. Do not stir them together.
  5. In a separate bowl, toss the drained, chopped pears with the brown sugar and ground cinnamon until fully coated.
  6. Spoon the sugary spiced pears evenly over the top of the batter in the baking dish. Do not stir.
  7. Bake for 40-45 minutes until the batter rises above the fruit and forms a deep golden, fluffy crust. Serve warm.
