Pear and Brown Sugar Cobbler
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter (melted)
- 2 cans (15 oz each) Del Monte Sliced Pears (drained well and roughly chopped)
- 1/2 cup Domino Light Brown Sugar (packed)
- 1 tsp McCormick Ground Cinnamon
- 1 cup Bisquick Baking Mix
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Pour the melted butter directly into the bottom of a 9×13 baking dish.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the Bisquick, milk, and granulated sugar until a smooth batter forms.
- Pour the batter directly over the melted butter in the baking dish. Do not stir them together.
- In a separate bowl, toss the drained, chopped pears with the brown sugar and ground cinnamon until fully coated.
- Spoon the sugary spiced pears evenly over the top of the batter in the baking dish. Do not stir.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes until the batter rises above the fruit and forms a deep golden, fluffy crust. Serve warm.
