Traditional Tribulus Herbal Tea

Ingredients

2 teaspoons dried Tribulus terrestris herb (leaves, stems, or fruit)

2 cups (500 ml) filtered water

1 teaspoon raw honey (optional)

Juice of ½ lemon (optional)

1 small cinnamon stick (optional)

2–3 thin slices of fresh ginger (optional)

Step 1: Prepare the Herb

If using whole dried herb, inspect it carefully and remove any dirt or damaged pieces. Rinse quickly under cool water if needed and pat dry.

Step 2: Crush the Herb

Using a mortar and pestle, lightly crush the dried herb to help release its natural compounds. Avoid grinding it into a fine powder.

Step 3: Boil the Water

Pour 2 cups of filtered water into a small saucepan and bring it to a gentle boil.

Step 4: Add the Herb

Add the crushed Tribulus herb to the boiling water. If using ginger or cinnamon, add them now.

Step 5: Simmer

Reduce the heat to low and simmer gently for 10–15 minutes.

Step 6: Steep

Remove the saucepan from the heat, cover with a lid, and allow the tea to steep for another 10 minutes.

Step 7: Strain

Pour the tea through a fine mesh strainer into a mug or teapot, removing all plant material.

Step 8: Flavor

Stir in honey and lemon juice if desired to balance the naturally bitter taste.

Step 9: Serve

Enjoy the tea warm, or let it cool and serve over ice.

Storage

Store in a sealed glass container in the refrigerator.

Consume within 24–48 hours for the best flavor.
