Ingredients
1 large handful (about 1 cup) fresh parsley leaves and stems
4 cups (1 liter) filtered water
1 teaspoon fresh grated ginger (optional)
1 cinnamon stick (optional)
Juice of ½ lemon (optional)
1–2 teaspoons honey (optional)

Step 1: Select Fresh Parsley
Choose bright green parsley with crisp leaves. Remove any yellow or wilted leaves.

Step 2: Wash Thoroughly
Rinse the parsley under cool running water several times to remove dirt or sand.

Step 3: Chop the Parsley
Roughly chop the leaves and tender stems to help release their flavor during brewing.

Step 4: Boil the Water
Pour 4 cups of water into a medium saucepan and bring it to a rolling boil.

Step 5: Add the Herbs
Reduce the heat to low and add:
Chopped parsley
Grated ginger (optional)
Cinnamon stick (optional)

Step 6: Simmer
Allow the mixture to simmer gently for 10–15 minutes.

Step 7: Steep
Turn off the heat, cover the pot with a lid, and let the tea steep for another 10 minutes.

Step 8: Strain
Pour the tea through a fine mesh strainer into a teapot or pitcher, removing all herbs.

Step 9: Add Flavor
Stir in:
Lemon juice
Honey
Mix well until the honey dissolves.

Step 10: Serve
Drink the tea warm, or chill it in the refrigerator and serve over ice.

Storage
Store in a sealed glass container in the refrigerator.
Consume within 2 days.
